Automatic labeling machines can replace inefficient manual labeling methods and achieve efficient and perfect labeling!

In order for a self-adhesive labeling machine to perfectly replace manual work, in addition to reasonable design and stable structure, the application of sensors is essential. Sensors are equivalent to human eyes, which can perceive things during the labeling process, help system equipment identify feature points, improve judgment ability, and trigger the execution components to complete the labeling.

The sensors used on the labeling machine are mainly divided into two types according to their functions. One type is used to sense the transmission position of the label; The other one is used to sense the walking position of objects.

When the label reaches the label sensor, it emits an electrical signal to inform the main control center or PLC computing unit that the position of the label has been confirmed. After program calculation, the next time node for labeling is determined, and the corresponding labeling drive preparation is made. The sensor that senses the position of the label can be selected and used according to the label material. If it is a regular label, a regular label sensor can be used. If it is a transparent label, a dedicated sensor for transparent labels should be selected. These two can share the same interface and can be used interchangeably when in use!

The principle of sensing the transmission position of an object is the same as that of sensing the position of a label! When the labeled object passes through the sensing position, a signal is sent to inform the main control program that it is the time node for labeling or the next step to prepare. Sensors should be selected based on the characteristics of the object, and infrared sensors, proximity sensors, etc. are common types.

The self-adhesive label machine relies on the instructions sent by sensors to accurately and effectively judge and issue instructions, and cooperates with the computing unit for precise control to complete the labeling series of actions!
